Snowdrops

Galanthus nivalis

Common Snowdrops are the first harbinger of spring in many parts of the temperate Northern hemisphere. In Danish, they are called “Wintergækker,” which means “winter-teaser.” Galanthus nivalis is native to, and naturalised in large swathes of Europe, and thought to have been dispersed by the Romans during conquest.

Other members of the Galanthus family are endangered in the wild, and collection is prohibited.

Snowdrop Gardens are popular tourist destinations, marking the opening of a number of botanical gardens, especially in the UK.

There is even a term for a devoted lover of snowdrops: a “Galanthophile.”

I have snowdrop bulbs available from my garden, if you would like to grow them yourself.

I feel bad because I laughed when Steve literally shed a single tear when he heard FDR died. Also Steve jumping around with a gunshot wound is p dumb just to show off your fancy moves to Rick.

i love how deliberate they are in showing Chris as apathetic and selfish so when he’s with Steve he learns the true value of TEAMWORK and HEROISM

I love it. It’s so predictable and I hope there’s just an entire episode dedicated to this lesson I will not be satisfied until this kid learns the meaning of teamwork.
